AC Milan ready to make second Juventus raid

AC Milan have made a stunning move for Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio, reports Rai Sport, via Football Italia.

Vincenzo Montella’s side have already signed Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus this summer and now reports have emerged suggesting Milan want to land a second player from their fiercest rivals.

Milan have spent nearly £200m on summer signings this summer and want one more midfielder to cap a remarkable window of change at the club.

The 31-year-old’s has reportedly dropped down the pecking order following the arrival of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, but Milan will not intensify their pursuit of the Italy international unless he asks Juventus for a move away.

Since August 2009, only four players have won possession in the middle third more times than Marchisio in Serie A (648).
