Manchester United target will consider summer exit from boyhood club
Aston Villa are braced for summer approaches from Manchester United and Manchester City for captain Jack Grealish, reports The Telegraph.
Grealish has been a leading light for Villa, with his WhoScored rating (7.42) among the top 10 players in the Premier League this season.
The Villans could end the weekend in the relegation zone should West Ham pick up a result at Manchester City today.
And Villa are prepared for a number of offers for the creative star at the end of the season, even if they do stay up, with Grealish supposedly considering a heartbreaking departure from his boyhood club.
Interest is understandably high in the 24-year-old, who is hoping to at long last receive international recognition next month.
Seven goals and five assists has attracted the interest of United and City, who are looking to add another attacking midfielder to their respective squads in the summer.
United may have added Bruno Fernandes to the ranks last month, but their midfield needs an overhaul, while City are considering Grealish as a successor for David Silva, who is leaving the Etihad Stadium at the end of the campaign.
Grealish is the most fouled player in the Premier League this season having been done so 111 times.
