Stoke bid £3.25m for MLS star

Stoke have launched a £3.25m bid plus add-ons for New York City FC midfielder Jack Harrison, reports The Daily Mail.

The Potters have already made two signings this month and new manager Paul Lambert is now looking to bring Harrison back to England.

Harrison came through Manchester United’s fabled youth academy before making the bold decision to further his development in MLS in 2013.

The 21-year-old’s fine form for NYCFC was rewarded with international recognition with the England U21s earlier this season and could now materialise into a Premier League move.

Harrison was born in Stoke and this move would allow the midfielder to return home and also provide a platform for the youngster to showcase his ability on the biggest global stage.

The NYCFC No.11 finished the 2017 MLS campaign with 10 goals and three assists in 36 appearances, but the starlet only managed to find the back of the net twice in his last 18 outings.
