Guangzhou Evergrande midfielder Paulinho has confirmed there have been talks over a possible move to La Liga giants Barcelona.
The Brazil international was linked with a move to the Blaugrana last week and while many laughed off reports as mere speculation, the former Tottenham ace has confirmed that talks have taken place and that there is an offer from Barcelona.
"There's been contact with my agent. There's an offer [from Barca], it's true, and the two parties are talking,” Paulinho told Globoesporte.
"I'm really proud that a great club like Barcelona are interested in my situation -- there is no price for that.”
However, the 28-year-old is unsure whether a move to Barcelona would be the best move in his career, with the midfielder believing he is playing his best football in China having established himself as a key man under Tite in the Brazil squad.
The former Tottenham midfielder added: "At the moment I'm really happy with my life and with my career. When you're in a situation like the one I'm in, it's difficult to make a decision.
“There are a lot of things that I have to weigh up, one of them being my happiness.
“I think, first of all, the way things are with my partner here in China... We really like where we are, the people, how things are with the club, the success... The truth is that I don't know [what to do]."
