Real Madrid have since been linked with a move for the England hopeful, who signed a new deal at Goodison Park until 2027 back in October.
Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, who recently penned a contract extension at the Bernabeu, is well versed in Branthwaite's capabilities having handed the centre-back his debut during their time together at Everton.
