Watford have confirmed the acquisition of Etienne Capoue for a club record fee.
The Frenchman failed to establish himself as a first team regular for Tottenham since singing from Toulouse in 2013, with injuries hindering his impact.
However, he will have the chance to resurrect his career with the Hornets after they announced his capture on social media on Monday.
Capoue made only 19 league starts for Spurs during his two years at White Hart Lane having fallen behind the likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Mousa Dembele in the pecking order.
