Brentford's move for Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa has been thrown into doubt, reports Standard Sport.
Nusa has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham but the north London side were leapfrogged in the pecking order for the Norway international by capital rivals Brentford.
The Bees struck an agreement with Club Brugge for the teenager earlier this week, beating Spurs, Newcastle and Chelsea to the wideman's services.
However, the £31.5m deal is now stalling after his medical threw up some issues with the 18-year-old.
Brentford have since requested further medical information from Club Brugge and the Norwegian Football Federation to discover the full extent of Nusa's injury problems.
The west London side will hope to complete the deal for Nusa before Thursday's transfer deadline.

If Brentford are able to confirm the transfer of Nusa, then he'd remain at Club Brugge for the remainder of the season before joining up with Thomas Frank's side this summer.
Brentford's failure to wrap up the deal for Nusa does pave the way for a late hijack from interested parties.
