Leicester City have entered the race to sign Rennes striker Ousmane Dembele, according to French newspaper L’Equipe, via Get French Football.
Dembele, 18, is arguably the most sought after teenager in European football at the moment after enjoying an outstanding breakthrough campaign with Rennes this season.
The France Under-21 international only signed a new deal with Rennes at the start of the season but looks destined to leave for bigger and better things in the summer.
Borussia Dortmund have led the race to sign the 18-year-old frontman but Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has already had discussions with the teenager over a possible move.
No player aged 21 and under has scored more goals across Europe’s top five leagues this season than Dembele (12).
