Manchester United to rival Arsenal and Everton for Rabiot

Manchester United have held talks with the agent of Arsenal and Everton target Adrien Rabiot over a possible move to Old Trafford this summer, reports Gazzetto dello Sport via The Mirror on Sunday.

Rabiot is set to leave Juventus this summer after just a solitary season in Italy and a move to the Premier League is on the cards.

The Frenchman was one of the most coveted players in Europe last year when it became clear he would not pen a new deal with PSG.

Juventus won the race to land the 25-year-old free agent, but Rabiot has struggled to make a sustained impact with the Serie A champions.

Indeed, Rabiot has made just 11 league starts under head coach Maurizio Sarri and he is likely to depart the club in the off-season.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is believed to have held talks with Rabiot's mother, and agent, over a possible move to Goodison Park in a switch that would see both player and manager reunite.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in a new midfielder in the summer, however the duo now face competition from United for Rabiot.

Indeed, Rabiot may now be available for a modest £27m, which is an appealing fee for interested parties.
