Spurs plotting summer raid for Palace wideman

Tottenham will make another move for number one transfer target Wilfried Zaha in the summer, reports the Express.

Spurs have made a number of enquiries over the last two transfer windows for the Ivory Coast international, yet were rebuffed in their efforts to sign the 24-year-old.

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of Zaha and will urge the club to return for the winger at the end of the season.

The north London side are monitoring Zaha’s situation at Selhurst Park, as well as Palace’s, with Sam Allardyce’s side mired in the relegation battle.

Any possible drop into the Championship would likely see Zaha become available for a significantly lower fee, but Spurs will move for the winger regardless of whether they stave off the drop or not.

Zaha has been a rare bright spark in what’s been a dreary season for Palace, with his 87 successful dribbles the third highest return in England’s top tier this term.
