Bayern Munich confident of bargain deal for Manchester City's Leroy Sane
Leroy Sane's new representatives have stepped up their efforts to secure a move to Bayern Munich this summer, claims The Daily Mirror.
Sane is approaching the final 12 months of his current City contract and Pep Guardiola's side have failed to agree new terms with the winger.
To make matters worse for City, Sane changed agents at the start of the year and his new representatives have only started taking charge of his affairs this month.
Sane's new agents have made securing a return to Germany their priority and Bayern are confident of landing the City star in a cut-price deal.
City were holding out for £140m for Sane last summer but his valuation has plummeted in the last year.
As well as his contract running down, Sane suffered a serious knee injury at the start of August and has not featured since.
Bayern are desperate to sign at least one new winger for the 2020/21 campaign and are growing increasingly confident of landing Sane in a £70m deal.
After landing the PFA Young Player of the Year award for his displays in the 2017/18 campaign, Sane dropped down the pecking order at City the following year.
Sane was limited to just 21 starts in the Premier League last season and Guardiola's tough love is believed to be part of the reason he is unwilling to renew with City.
Despite a lack of regular playing time, Sane still managed to reach double figures for goals and assists (10 goals and 10 assists), managing the feat for the second season in a row.
