Nice tell suitors to pay €30m release clause for Dalbert

Nice have told Serie A duo Inter and Roma that they will need to trigger Dalbert’s €30m (£26.4m) release clause in order to sign the full-back this summer, reports Calciomercato, via Football Italia.

Dalbert has emerged as a top transfer target for both Italian sides this summer as they seek to bolster their options on the left hand side of the pitch, but they are finding it difficult to convince Nice to sell the Brazilian.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Ligue 1 outfit from Vitoria de Guimaraes last summer, has a €30m release clause in his existing deal, which isn’t due to expire until 2021.

Lucien Favre’s side have no interest in selling the 23-year-old, who made a really positive impression in the team last season, and it will now require any side interested in Dalbert to match his release clause.

Dalbert provided three assists in 33 league appearances for Nice last season and showed he can play in a back four and back five.
