Real Madrid to announce Jovic’s arrival next week

Real Madrid will announce Luka Jovic’s arrival from Frankfurt following the conclusion of the Bundesliga campaign, claims AS.

Jovic has emerged as one of the most sought after prospects in Europe this season but wants to focus on this weekend’s match against Bayern Munich before sorting his future.

Frankfurt head into the final weekend of the Bundesliga season in sixth place and need to beat Bayern to have any chance of claiming fourth spot and the final Champions League position.

Madrid have a good relationship with Frankfurt having sent a number of their young talents to the Bundesliga club in recent years.

Zinedine Zidane’s side have already announced a deal to sign Porto defender Eder Militao in the summer and Jovic will be the next signing unveiled at the Bernabeu.

Madrid will reportedly pay in the region of €60m (£52.5m) to sign the Serbia international, who only trails Robert Lewandowski (22) and Paco Alcacer (18) in the race to finish as the top scorer in the Bundesliga this season (17).
