Bayern ready to offer Hudson-Odoi terms Chelsea won't match
Bayern Munich are not giving up on their pursuit of Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi and are prepared to offer the teenager two things that the Blues are not, according to The Sun.
The Bundesliga champions have made no secret of their interest in the winger, who is very much seen as part of Chelsea’s long-term future but may need to move away from the club in order to see regular first team action now.
That’s something Bayern are reportedly ready to offer the 18-year-old, with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery’s reign as the wide options in Bavaria coming to an end this season.
The German giants are also thought to be willing to hand the youngster a contract equating to £85k per week, which is something that Chelsea are reluctant to match.
That’s despite the fact that they are set to pay twice as much in wages to 31-year-old striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is expected to sign for the club in the coming days on loan.
Hudson-Odoi has certainly been utilised more since Bayern’s interest became apparent but the England youth international is still to start a Premier League game for the club ahead of their trip to Arsenal on Saturday evening.
