Valencia have announced they have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes.
Guedes spent the season on loan at Valencia last term and was a revelation for Marcelino’s side, helping fire Los Che back into the Champions League.
The Portugal international has been deemed surplus to requirements by PSG and the Ligue 1 champions have been actively looking to sell the talented forward this summer.
Premier League side Watford showed shock interest at the end of the English transfer window but Guedes only had eyes on a return to Valencia.
The Spanish side have finally made a break through in talks with PSG and Guedes will officially put pen to paper on a long-term contract with Valencia on Tuesday.
“Valencia have reached an agreement on Monday with Paris Saint-Germain for the definitive transfer of Portuguese international Goncalo Guedes, who will travel to Valencia on Tuesday to sign his contract,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
Guedes failed to make a significant impression for Portugal at the 2018 World Cup but had a direct hand in 14 league goals for Valencia last season. He will likely now become their club-record signing.
