Manchester United and Juventus are leading the race to sign sought after Atalanta teenager Franck Kessie, according to Alfredo Pedulla, via Football Italia.
Kessie, 19, has been a revelation for Serie A’s surprise package this season and his performances have not gone without notice outside of Italy.
The Ivorian teenager has already drawn comparisons to Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure and his value has reportedly already doubled this season, with Atalanta looking to fetch in excess of €20m (£17m) for his services.
Kessie’s form has even forced his way into reckoning with the Ivory Coast senior side and he now looks poised for a big money move at the end of the season if he can continue his fine form.
Atalanta have been in superb form this season and their 2-1 win over Roma last weekend has left them just one point off second spot, with Gian Piero Gasperini’s side now dreaming of European football.
Indeed, no midfielder has scored more goals in Europe’s big five leagues this season than Kessie (5).
