Fulham are in talks with Brazilian side Fluminense over the signing of 23-year-old midfielder Andre, according to Sky Sports.
The Whites had been keen on a deal for Andre last summer, given the speculation over Joao Palhinha’s future.
With Palhinha’s move to Bayern Munich now confirmed, Marco Silva’s side are in the market for a midfield replacement.
Fluminense are believed to be holding out for a club-record £25 million fee for Andre, who has played five times in the Brasileirao this season.
Today’s report claims that there is still plenty of work to do as part of any proposed deal, not least finding an agreement over personal terms with the player.
Fulham are also thought to have alternative targets in the midfield position should a move for the Brazilian fail to materialise, with Manchester United’s Scott McTominay among those admired.
