Chelsea and Arsenal scouting Championship forward

 

Chelsea and Arsenal are monitoring Helder Costa’s development at Championship side Wolves with a view to a a summer move for the Portuguese forward, reports The Daily Mirror.

 

Wolves shelled out £13m to make Costa’s switch from Benfica permanent in January but his agent, Jorge Mendes, is already keen to get his client a big Premier League move.

 

Costa, 23, made a huge impression in Wolves’ shock FA Cup win over Liverpool at the start of the year after running Jurgen Klopp’s defence ragged all game and now Chelsea and Arsenal are understood to have deployed scouts to keep a closer eye on his development.

However, any Premier League side interested in Costa’s services can expect to pay in excess of £20m for the forward as Wolves look set to profit from his brief stay at the club.

 

Despite the fact Wolves have been battling relegation for most of the season, Costa has still managed to score eight goals and weigh in with a further six assists.
