Manchester United are weighing up a move for versatile Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi in the summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Florenzi, 25, is a right back by trade but can also play all the way up the right flank and also in the centre of midfield.
The Italy international has developed into an integral player for the Giallorossi in the last two years and United are reportedly willing to pay as much as £24m for his services.
Florenzi still has three years left to run on his current deal and there hasn’t been any suggestion he is willing to pack in life at Roma. His notable highlight this season came in the Champions League group stages when he scored from 40-yards on the right touchline against reigning champions Barcelona.
Since the start of the season, only two players have completed more crosses (excluding corners) in Serie A than Florenzi (26).
