Pochettino to green light Tottenham's £80m swoop for Bournemouth pair
Tottenham are considering swooping for key Bournemouth pair Callum Wilson and David Brooks this summer, reports the Daily Mail.
Spurs are expected to spend big in the market having last signed a player back in January 2018 with the arrival of Lucas Moura from PSG.
Reports have linked Tottenham with a number of players as the transfer window edges closer to officially opening, with Wilson a long-term target for the north London side.
The England international was on Chelsea’s radar at the turn of the year, but the Blues were priced out of a move for Wilson and eventually signed Olivier Giroud.
Wilson, 27, is making up for lost time in the Premier League after two serious knee injuries and scored 14 and assisted nine goals for the Cherries this season.
Brooks, meanwhile, has been one of the young stars of the campaign following his arrival from Sheffield United and Bournemouth will be reluctant to cash in on the Wales international.
Indeed, if Spurs are to bring to duo to London, it will set them back £80m, with the pair key players for Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side.
