Champions League winner happy at Stoke, insists Hughes
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes insists Bojan is happy at the Britannia Stadium as the January transfer window looms.
Reports in Spain have recently tipped Bojan, who has since returned from a long-term injury, with a move to Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United when the transfer market reopens in the New Year.
However, there is no conversation to be had, according to his manager Hughes, who is certain the former Barcelona creator will remain at the club until the end of the season.
“He is happy here, his people are happy too and we wouldn’t encourage any interest in him,” Hughes is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
Stoke’s ability to attract Bojan to the Britannia in 2014 came as a shock and he has proven hugely impressive when the Potters have managed to get him on the pitch.
In fact, since the start of last season only Xherdan Shaqiri (7) has made more accurate through balls than Bojan (3) of all Stoke players in the Premier League.
