Willian has suggested he wants to help Chelsea rebuild next season amid reports linking the Brazilian with a summer move to Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho has been interested in reuniting with Willian at Old Trafford since replacing Louis van Gaal as United manager in 2016.
The United boss is expected to assess his offensive options in the summer but the Portuguese will have to look elsewhere if he wants to sign a new attacker.
“I like to play for Chelsea,” Willian told The Daily Mirror. “On the pitch I want to do my best always to fight until the last minute. To do my best for this club. To continue to win titles because this club deserves always to win titles.
“I think we have to continue to improve for next season. To improve ourselves. To think about what we did well, what we did not so well and to try to make something different next season.”
Chelsea languish 10 points off the top four with 18 points left to play for and Gary Cahill has already confirmed they have left it too late to catch fourth place Tottenham.
Willian has often been the first player sacrificed in Chelsea’s attacking options, illustrated by the fact he has only started 18 league games this season and made a further 13 appearances from the bench.
Despite that, he still averages a WhoScored rating of 7.08 in the league and has played a direct hand in 12 goals (six goals, six assists).
