Spurs to rekindle Berahino interest

Tottenham are ready to make another move for Saido Berahino in January, reports the Star on Sunday.

Spurs were heavily linked with a move for the young striker over the summer and saw three bids for him rejected by West Brom.

However, they are prepared to move for the 22-year-old once again when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Spurs are reportedly willing to include Andros Townsend in any potential deal, with the winger out of favour at White Hart Lane following a spat with a fitness coach following the 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

Tony Pulis is supposedly a fan of Townsend, which may convince the Baggies to sell the striker.

Spurs to rekindle Berahino interest

Spurs, though, could face competition from Chelsea, who have also been credited with an interest in Berahino.

The West Brom frontman has disappointed for West Brom this season and has just three league goals to his name from 11 appearances.
