Inter will look to take advantage of Branislav Ivanovic’s growing uncertainty at Chelsea by offering him a two-year deal in January, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Ivanovic’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season and the Serbia international will be able to discuss his future with foreign clubs at the start of 2016.
The 31-year-old’s performances have dipped significantly since the end of the last campaign and he is suggested to be unhappy with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
No Chelsea player has made more errors that have directly lead to more attempts on goal than Ivanovic (2) in the Premier League this season.
