Manchester United and Real Madrid will have to make Paul Pogba the world’s most expensive player to sign the France international this summer, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Pogba, 23, has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus in recent years with United and Madrid the only two sides in the running for his signature this summer.
The France international left United for Juventus four years ago and the Red Devils are currently in talks with his agent, Mino Raiola, about a return to Old Trafford this summer.
However, both clubs have been told they must break the £85.3m Madrid paid Tottenham for Gareth Bale in 2013 and Pogba could even become the first £100m footballer, once add-ons and agent fees are factored into the deal.
Since August 2013 only Franco Vazquez (253) has completed more dribbles in Serie A than Pogba (252), who finished last season in WhoScored.com’s European Team of the Season (7.81). Furthermore, only Miralem Pjanic (11) has scored more goal from outside the box than Pogba (10) in that time.
