Tottenham are readying a big money move for Italian Domenico Berardi, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Spurs are keen to strengthen their attack in January in order to ease the goalscoring burden on Harry Kane.
The club have been strongly linked with moves for Saido Berahino and Jackson Martinez, though could splash the cash to bring Berardi to White Hart Lane.
The same paper suggests the club would need to part ways with €34m in order to convince Sassuolo to sell the 21-year-old.
Berardi, however, has struggled to match the heights of his opening two Serie A seasons for Sassuolo, netting just two goals and registering a further two assists in Italy's top tier this term.
It is also reported that Juventus have an agreement in place to re-sign Berardi at the end of the season, though that is unlikely to deter Spurs from enquiring over Berardi's availability.
