Newcastle eye loan move for Everton striker

Newcastle have enquired about loaning Everton striker Sandro Ramirez for the remainder of the season, claims The Daily Mail.

Sandro only joined Everton in the summer but his stint at Goodison Park has been nothing short of a disaster and he is already free to leave.

The 22-year-old snubbed Atletico Madrid to join Everton in a deal worth £5.2m in the summer and he is determined to be a success in England, even if that means leaving Everton.

Sam Alladryce has further bolstered Everton’s offensive options this month after splashing out nearly £50m in combined fees for Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott.

Their arrivals have pushed Sandro further down the pecking order and Newcastle are now hoping to prise him to St. James’ Park for a £2m loan fee.

The Everton No.9 has only started three Premier League matches this season and been forced to make a further five appearances as a substitute.

However, Sandro has only featured in two of the 12 matches Allardyce has managed Everton, managing 46 minutes of football in that period.
