Tottenham are poised to land Krzysztof Piatek after agreeing a £28m deal with AC Milan, claims The Sun.
Jose Mourinho has accelerated Tottenham's search for a new striker with Harry Kane ruled out until April with a hamstring injury.
Mourinho lamented Tottenham's lack of depth up front following their 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough last weekend.
Tottenham have reportedly agreed a fee with Milan for out of favour striker Piatek and the Poland international is expected to undergo his medical over the weekend.
The 24-year-old has only spent 12 months at Milan but is free to leave following Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return to the club.
Piatek burst onto the scene with Genoa at the start of last season and earned a high profile move to Milan after just six months.
However, he has failed to have the same impact at Milan and now he will bid to relaunch his career in the Premier League with a three-and-a-half-year deal on the table from Tottenham.
Piatek has only scored four times in 18 league appearances this season and his record for Milan in the league reads 13 goals in 36 games.
